Sue Betts presented RATT with a £500 donation, on behalf of the three Rotary Clubs in Rugby to thank them for their contribution to the 2017 Spring Fair.

Sue, who is the President of the Rotary Club Of Rugby Saturday Breakfast , commented 'it was delight to see such talented young people and as I recall all with great performances on the day...Rugby's got has be said."

David Head, Trustee at RATT (Rugby Area Talent Trust) said “Performing at The Rugby Spring Fair 2017 was a highlight of the year for us and we are grateful to Rotary both for that amazing opportunity to showcase the fantastic talent that we know exists in Rugby, and for this donation of course. We are just about to launch a new tranche of small grants for young talented people in our town so this has come at an ideal time – we will be making finance available to support young people to develop their musical, art, sporting, academic or entrepreneurial talent with applications open during October, and grants being approved in November."

“We all hugely enjoy collaborating with the Rugby Rotary Clubs and we are already looking forward to being involved at The Rugby Spring Fair 2018 next May.”

Details of RATT’s autumn grant programme are available on their website

Applications are welcome from young people living in Rugby and the close surrounding area. The closing date for applications is 31 October.
